STOP COPING WITH ANXIETY
START LIVING WITH FREEDOM
Anxiety isn’t just nervousness or fear. It’s your body and mind’s response to a perceived threat, whether real or imagined. It’s an automatic chemical reaction hardwired in your brain to protect you, but it can become overactive and intrude into your daily life.
But anxiety isn’t permanent, and it’s not a disorder you have to live with your entire life. New science shows that anxiety is often a result of neural pathways in our brain that have been conditioned over time.
With the right tools, Solutions to Live By can help you rewire those pathways, changing your brain’s response to triggers and allowing you to experience life free from anxiety.

From Crisis to Confidence
Chuck arrived at the family’s home to find his soon-to-be middle-school client curled up in a tight ball, completely non-communicative. After the client was discharged from a mental hospital, the client’s parents, despite their best efforts, couldn’t reach her emotionally or mentally. The client was self-harming, unable to attend school, and had lost all hope.
Chuck requested the family give them privacy and began speaking gently to the middle schooler, starting a one-sided conversation. After more than an hour, the client began to respond, sharing their thoughts and struggles for the first time. Chuck helped them reframe her crisis into manageable steps toward healing.
Determining that the client was safe for the night, Chuck told the client’s parents that he would help find an insurance provider for their child.
Three weeks later, the client’s parents contacted Chuck, discussing the number of therapists and outpatient treatment programs that they’ve tried to help their child, only to discover that their child only wanted to work with Chuck. He and the parents brainstormed a way for them to meet since the client was hesitant and afraid their classmates would discover that they were receiving professional help. They decided to meet at a library in a private study room under the guise of academic tutoring. This allowed the client to feel safe and engaged without the stigma of therapy.
When chatting with the client, Chuck discovered that they suffered from anxiety, self-harming, lack of sleep, and suicidal ideations. Over seven weeks, Chuck helped rebuild their confidence, reduce their anxiety, and eliminate suicidal ideations. The client has since returned to school, started sleeping well, and began living a fulfilling life. For the past seven years, they have reached out to Chuck for support during life’s occasional challenges. The client’s parents, now equipped and informed with strategies to support their child, credit Chuck with transforming the life of their child.
From Communication Challenges to Success
After working for the company for several decades since high school, a middle-aged employee became department head. Despite being a capable and respected employee, the client’s communication breakdowns in management meetings put their newfound promotion in jeopardy.
Chuck was recruited by the company’s CEO and executive coach to assist their newly promoted department head. They had seen their employee succeed in meetings before but were at a loss as to why they had changed. Under the guise of a “communication coach,” Chuck got to work with the client, meeting once a week via teletherapy. He discovered his client had root issues from the past, emotional wounds from their nuclear family, and other relationship struggles that led to their errant mindset and tripped up their ability to communicate effectively as a leader.
During these sessions, Chuck helped rearrange the “noise” within the client’s mind, addressing their personal issues and mindset that affected their confidence. Through weekly teletherapy sessions, Chuck helped the client develop new communication strategies and boosted their confidence.
Chuck also reported to the company’s CEO and executive coach in real time on how their employee was doing, adjusting his approach based on feedback.
After a few sessions, the client successfully overcame their communication challenges, secured their promotion, and now thrives in their management role. Both the CEO and executive coach praised Chuck’s transformative impact.
From Anxiety and Panic to an Anxiety-Free Life
The client’s medical doctor referred a middle-aged, self-made business owner to Chuck. The client reported a fast onset of crippling anxiety and panic attacks out of the blue and had gone to the emergency room several times, thinking they were having a heart attack when it was only a panic attack.
First, Chuck conducted a full assessment to determine if no underlying issues or imbalances were driving the anxiety. After determining there were no underlying issues mentally or physically, Chuck provided the client with a comprehensive anxiety removal strategy, teaching techniques to stop panic attacks in real time and eliminate anxiety permanently.
The client reported immediate relief from their anxiety when implementing Chuck’s teachings. Chuck supported the client through their family vacation, guiding him on how to manage anticipatory anxiety and navigate the trip successfully.
Overall, the client took Chuck’s anxiety removal techniques to heart and ran with them. A year later, they reported to Chuck that they remain thriving with no recurrence of anxiety or panic attacks.
Addition to Recovery
A wealthy, senior and business owner’s family reached out to Chuck to do an intervention for the client’s alcoholism. The family believed that the client had been sober for 10 years, only to discover that they had secretly been drinking. Traditional treatment programs have failed the client before, and the client’s family needed guidance on supporting them effectively.
Chuck trained the client’s family on how to approach the client with empathy and clarity. After a successful intervention, Chuck personally transported the client to a vetted inpatient treatment center in Florida that would meet the client’s needs. While the patient was in treatment, Chuck coached the family to help their loved one heal and prepare for his return.
When the client relapsed twice after coming home, Chuck personally facilitated additional inpatient treatments. Chuck’s coaching sessions with his client were held in an environment where the client was comfortable—over meals, at the client’s office, and even on the client’s boat during the summer months. These personalized sessions allowed the client to open up about their recovery journey.
Now, the client has been sober for five years after decades of struggling with addiction. The family, armed with tools from Chuck’s coaching, continues to support his sobriety, and the client credits Chuck’s approach to finally breaking the cycle of addiction.
Developmental and Life Skill Coaching for a Young Adult with Autism and Anxiety
A young college student had failed out of college. Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and anxiety, the client struggled with communication, emotional expression, and academic success. The client’s parents feared their child would never live independently and would need to be cared for throughout the client’s life.
The client’s parents reached out to Chuck to help their child. Before meeting with the client, Chuck met with the client’s long-time therapist to gather intel on the client’s struggles and his neuropsychological evaluation. This gave Chuck insight into the client’s situation. As a young adult with ASD, the client had a hard time grasping why they needed Chuck as a life coach when they already had a therapist. He also had difficulty communicating and was not in touch with themselves, their feelings, and their own thoughts. When meeting with Chuck the first few times, they would barely speak and would “stim” by bouncing in a chair to soothe their anxiety.
Chuck began by creating a safe, structured environment for the client, focusing on reducing their anxiety through guided exercises. Gradually, the client became more engaged and learned to articulate their feelings and goals. The client told Chuck that they wanted to succeed academically.
Chuck broke down the client’s coursework into manageable daily tasks to address their academic struggles and coordinated with tutors and therapists to ensure consistent support and academic success. He also coached the client on life skills, from managing their schedule to navigating social interactions and helping the client find volunteer opportunities that suit them. Chuck also discovered the parents were preventing their child from succeeding as they were too enmeshed in their young adult child’s life. He let the parents know the tools their child needed to succeed and told them to take a step back to let their child thrive.
Over time, the client transformed. They completed multiple semesters in college, secured a summer job, and began building friendships. They are now considering a master’s program and maintaining an independent, balanced life. Their parents, now confident in their child’s abilities, have stepped back to let them thrive independently.
